Starting this November, VLVT Border Fashion Week marks its first edition as the first high-level fashion event in the northern border of Mexico. With a focus on fashion, identity, and contemporary luxury, it seeks to redefine the narrative of design from this region.
The event brings together emerging and established designers in a curated, editorial experience with professional standards, creating a space where creativity connects with industry, culture, and international projection.
A studio driven by a vision to create opportunities within their community, the idea for VLVT Border Fashion Week was born from the lack of platforms for creative talent in Ciudad Juárez and the border region.
Through VLVT Border Fashion Week, she seeks to highlight Mexican talent and the ways it is expressed not only through fashion, but also across different artistic disciplines, creating a space where creativity can be seen, developed, and projected beyond borders.
Ciudad Juárez is more than a destination—it’s a cultural crossroads where creativity, history, and energy converge. Shaped by its border identity, the city exists at the intersection of two worlds, blending traditions, perspectives, and influences into something entirely its own. This duality is reflected in its streets, its people, and its ever-evolving creative scene.
At Border Fashion Week, this spirit becomes the foundation of the experience. The city is not just a backdrop—it is part of the narrative, seamlessly woven into every moment. Every space and every detail are shaped by the essence of Juárez, creating an environment where fashion, art, and culture collide in a way that feels bold, immersive, and unforgettable.
Border Fashion Week is a platform that brings together talent from different disciplines, creating a space where ideas become experiences. We are looking for emerging and established creatives in fashion design, modeling, photography, videography, styling, makeup, and visual arts.
